'Hope Panhandle' was founded after Hurricane Michael to help with the relief effort, but now they have partnered with SBP and Americorps to help with the housing situation. On Friday they unveiled the latest house they've completed. After two and half months of work they renovated, replaced the roof, and completely refurnished Gail Philyaw's home.

In May, 14 students from Marquette University spent four days with Hope Panhandle, giving their time and dedication to the rebuilding efforts here in Panama City. For many of these students it was their second time to volunteer with us, and they made a video to document their experience. We give a huge thanks to these Marquette students and all of our volunteers for the huge impact you make through your hard work and time!
